RELATED EXPERIENCE

Ottawa-Carleton Catholic School Board

In the past 8 years, I have participated in the design and implementation of on-line courses. I have adapted courses to integrate the use of computer software such as Simply Accounting.  I have also been a presenter at Board-sponsored IT conferences and workshops.  I wrote curriculum for online courses for the Ministry of Education (eLearningOntario).  More recently, I developed online resources for the Support Staff Professional Development courses in collaboration with Nectar.

I taught other courses, including Core and Extended French , Careers/Civics and Geography in French, Law and Economics, which provided me with a knowledge of cross-curricular technological requirements as well as an opportunity to use varied educational applications.

I held a workshop on the use of Simply Accounting to help my colleagues integrate the use of computers in their classrooms.  I also created a workshop to inform teachers on the use of online learning as a valuable resource in their classes.
